On May 8, the "BAKYNETS" Wrestling Sports Club hosted the awarding of European freestyle wrestling champions Alina Hrushyna-Akobia and Parviz Nasibova with cash prizes.
During the award ceremony, a meeting was held with the coaches and students of the club. Alina and Parviz spoke words of support to the young athletes and thanked the President and head coach of the "BAKYNETS" Wrestling Club Oleg Andriyovych Krapivin and the vice president and coach of the "BAKYNETS" Club Krapivin Sultanbek Olehovych for supporting sports and them as athletes.
The president of the wrestling club "BAKYNETS" Oleg Andriyovych Krapivin expresses his gratitude to the mass media for supporting Ukrainian sports and athletes during the war with the Russian Federation and invites them to join the coverage of the event, which is an important part of supporting Ukrainian sports and athletes who achieve high results and continue the struggle for leadership in Ukrainian sports during the war.

Alina Hrushyna-Akobia, a Ukrainian freestyle wrestler, honored master of sports, two-time European champion, medalist of the world and European championships, became the 2023 European champion in wrestling in the weight category up to 57 kg, which took place from April 17 to 23 in the capital of Croatia, the city of Zagreb. Currently, Alina Hrushyna-Akobia is the leader of the UWW (United World Wrestling) world ranking among women in the weight category up to 57 kg.

Parviz Nasibov is a Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestler, honored master of sports, silver medalist of the Olympic Games in Tokyo, bronze medalist of the 2023 European Championship. He was awarded the Order of Merit III degree for achieving high sports results at the XXXII Summer Olympic Games in the city of Tokyo (Japan), showing dedication and the will to win.

Alina and Parviz are members of the national team of Ukraine and applicants for participation in the 2024 Summer Olympic Games, which will be held in the capital of France, Paris.
